February 2, 2022 is the Fifth Annual Book Direct Guest Education Day! It seems to sneak up on us every year, so this time, we at Acorn wanted to get the word out well ahead of time! We want our clients and other independent lodging owners to have a few months to decide how they want to celebrate this special occasion by letting their current and potential guests know about the benefits of booking directly with their properties.
The first Wednesday of February was designated as the first annual Book Direct Guest Education Day in 2018. After the last few years of travel restrictions, local, national and international, as lodging professionals tried to adapt and survive, we're looking for 2022 to be the year of the independent lodging property!
For past Book Direct Guest Education Days, property owners and managers have done things like create posters, adding imagery and wording to their websites, direct interaction with guests, wearing buttons (Ask me about #BOOKDIRECT!) even reaching out to local newspapers and stations!
With such a distinctive date (2-2-22) this year, we're know that the creative minds of property owners everywhere will start whirring with unique and impactful ways to educate potential guests about #BOOKDIRECT!
