In honor of the late Mary White, founder of BnBFinder.com and author of Innkeeping for Dummies, I want to share the announcement of the Mary White Educational Scholarship Fund made at the 2020 AIHP (Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals) Conference in Albuquerque, NM earlier this month.
Mary’s dedication to innkeeper education began many years ago with her BnBFinder client newsletters, and was recognized globally with her book, Innkeeping for Dummies. It was Mary's desire to continue to promote and sustain that mission by providing aspiring and new innkeepers access to the educational tools they need to be successful in our industry.
This fund will equip new and aspiring innkeepers for one year at no charge, with the ability to participate in all that ALP (Association of Lodging Professional) provides, providing full access to the member newsletter, webinars, and conference member pricing. The Mary White Educational Scholarship Fund will be a legacy of educational support for future generations of innkeepers.
