Recap: PAII 2013 Innkeeping Show

paii-2013-vegasThis year’s Innkeeping Show, provided by PAII (Professional Association of Innkeepers International) was held January 28 – 31, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Members of the Acorn IS team attending were: Mark and Lisa, Willie Louthen-Brown and Scott Thomas.

This is the first year that PAII provided 1-on-1 time to meet with Innkeepers on the Trade Show Floor. This was very well received by Innkeepers and Vendors alike! We were able to visit with existing clients and new innkeepers to help answer any questions they had about their Website, Online Presence, Social Media, Google etc.

Kudos goes to PAII for adding in this additional opportunity this year for Innkeepers!

Acorn Internet Services presented two Sessions at the Conference this year.
Both were reviewed as “EXCELLENT” by a room full of AWESOME ATTENDEES!

Reviews, Reputation and Revenue Session

The 3 R’s: Reviews, Reputation and Revenue!

Your Inn's reputation has the power to determine if a new guest chooses you over your competition. Your Reviews must be managed, and some Reviews even contribute to your Inn's Search Engine Placement. Innkeepers joined us for this informative session where they learned...

1) The RIGHT way to grow good Reviews
2) How to handle a bad Review
3) What Reviews benefit your Google placement

Help: Google is Driving me Crazy SessionHelp! Google’s Driving me Crazy…

Innkeepers who attended the "Google's Driving me Crazy" Session learned about the latest changes in both Google Local and Google Organic. What those changes mean to their Inn's Website placement and ultimately their bottom line? They also learned that Google continues to update their Guidelines, Algorithms, and add new features such as Google + Local, and the list goes on and on. The main question of the session was: Are you keeping up? Innkeepers that joined us for this session learned how to improve their online placement through growing their Inn's online website authority with Google!
