is a new business with a lot of history in Virginia. The Manor was orginally built in 1916 and run as an inn in the 1940’s. After an extensive restoration, the house was again run as a B&B by former owners Bill and Eileen Hoernlein from1995 to 2004. New Owners Melissa and Ray Alexander took over the sister business, Alpine Hideaway Cottages, in January 2012 and have already launched the “new” B&B with modern touches, as well as a new web site for the Inn.
The hardworking Alexanders told us:
“Our website looks great. The turnkey approach provided us with the look and feel we were looking for. We have received plenty of compliments in the short period of time it has been available and we are excited to begin working with it. Thank you to all of the folks at Acorn involved in its development for their support and effort.”
We wish them the best in their new venture. Such nice people will surely prosper in the hospitality business!
