The 1825 Inn, in Hershey, PA, needed a new look. Owner/Innkeeper Will McQueen turned to his original designer and web host, Acorn Marketing, for the help he needed.
Will wanted to move the site into the new era of Social Media and consumer friendliness without losing the charm of his 184 year old property. His close proximity to the famous chocolate manufacturer influenced the color choices, and lovely photography is featured through-out the new design:
Will has had amazing results from the Site-Lift:
"I want to thank Acorn Marketing for my Site Lift, Customized Twitter page and Customized Blog page. I can’t get over how many compliments I am getting on my new web site which went live 9/23/09. I had 42% more bookings from Oct 1st to Oct 18th. Comparing 2008 to 2009 , I have had an increase of over $7,300 in just 18 days. I also had Acorn customize my Newsletter to match all my Social Media. I sent out my first newsletter to 1,578 guests and as of today 1,124 have opened the newsletter some have become fans on my Facebook page, some are following my Twitter and Blog, some have written reviews on the web and the Best is some have already picked up the phone to make new reservations. My new Web Site is bringing in the business because once they find me on the internet they are now NOT bouncing to other sites but Booking Here. My advice is to jump on the band wagon and start with Acorn’s Webinars on Social Media and get moving.
Thank you Acorn Team once again for all you have done for me and my business!!!"
Wow! This is what we love to hear. Acorn's mission is to help innkeepers with their business and help them to learn how to use free tools, such as Blogger, Facebook and Twitter to get more business!
