RSS Graffiti No Longer Available for Blog Feeds to Facebook

Almost all of our customers have been using RSS Graffiti to automatically feed their blog posts to Facebook. This has been a good solution for several years. Unfortunately, one of our team logged on to a customer's RSS Graffiti app recently and saw this:

After an email from a customer today, it appears that some of the feeds are already being shut down.

We immediately started looking for a solution, and have found a few options. We are going to continue to search for another, free, solution, but in the meantime here are a few things you can do.

1) Manually paste your blog post into Facebook - it's super easy- here are the steps:

After you publish to post, Click the "View Post" button

Now, highlight the blog post link and copy it to your clipboard

Now go to your Facebook business page

Paste the blog post's link into your status - you can add something such as "From Our Blog" if you like

Now click "Post"

And Voila! Your blog post is now on Facebook:

2)  Use Bufferapp.com to post the blog out to Facebook, Twitter and Google + all at once - Buffer is a free product you can use to schedule your social media posts. Simply set up an account, add your social media accounts and you are on your way. You still have to manually add the link, but you can feed it out to FB, G+ and Twitter all at once. Some of our customers prefer doing it this way because they have control over what image is loaded with the blog post and can schedule the post to go out whenever they like. Here is a video :

3) Use Hootsuite to feed the blog to Facebook, etc - same sort of idea as Buffer, but more automated. You don't have control over your images, which can be a bummer, since eye-candy matters on social media. Here is a video on how to do it:

I'd love to know any other tricks you might have for feeding your blog posts to social media. Let me know in the comments!
