Brian Duncan and Tessa Bardo, co-owners of Gettysburg Bed and Breakfast, the Brickhouse Inn, came to us for a new site design and was immediately plunged into the new world of social media. The Brickhouse Inn is a fine historical property in one of the more competitive markets for Inns. Brian knew he would have to pair his new site design with Facebook, Twitter and Blogging.
The new design evinces the historical aspect of the inn:
But the use of Social Media brings it into the present.
We were very happy to learn that Brian was pleased with the process:
“Earlier this year we asked Acorn to create a new website for us. From the first contact, all their staff have been a pleasure to work with – friendly and responsive. They used our new photos from Jumping Rocks to good effect, and we’re very pleased with the final result. We now look forward to improving our marketing, especially the social media aspects. Thanks to all of you at Acorn!”
Brian mentions an important piece of a great looking web site here, and that is professional photography. We can't emphasize enough how much effect beautifully staged, clear photos have on a web site's final look.
