We think we have finally found the correct way to send e-mail newsletters to all of our guests so we can keep you up-to-date on activities at the Inn and around Gettysburg.

January 25th & 26th, 2008

13th Annual Innkeepers Civil War Ball
The Grand Ball will be held at the Grand Ballroom in the Gettysburg Hotel.

Friday, enjoy a relaxed evening & the inn’s hospitality.

Saturday morning after breakfast attend the Period Dance Class to learn how to promenade in the traditional Civil War period style.

Saturday evening includes a full sit down dinner and Grand Ball with period music provided by Music Americana  & Briant Bohleke as Dance master.room on arrival. 

February 22nd & 23rd, 2008

Lincoln at Gettysburg
Relive Lincoln’s historic visit to Gettysburg.

Friday evening book signing with historian and guide Roy Frampton at Gallery 30.

Saturday, led by Roy Frampton, visit the newly renovated Lincoln Train Station, the Wills House & walk the paths of the National Cemetery.

Saturday evening enjoy a fine dining experience at the historic Cashtown Inn with President Lincoln as depicted by James Getty, nationally renowned Lincoln impersonator and Civil War period music provided by musician Tom Jolin.

MASSAGE PACKAGE

Unwind from your hectic, busy life with an in-room massage for 2 next to the fireplace.  Your package also includes champagne, wine or sparkling cider, and chocolate covered strawberries in your room.

Select your 2-days to re-energize and call the Inn to check availability.  72 hours are needed to make arrangements for massage therapists (2).  Only the Aster and Lily rooms can accommodate a double massage, all others would be one after the other.  The price of the Massage Package is $100 plus 2 nights lodging.

JANUARY IS CABIN FEVER MONTH

Stay 2 nights and the second night is FREE!  Remember January is an excellent month for a SKIING getaway and LIBERTY MOUNTAIN is just 20 minutes from Gettysburg.  The "Free Night" special does not apply to the weekend of January 25/26.  Please mention this special when making your reservation.


A ROMANCE PACKAGE FOR VALENTINE’S
(OR ANY TIME)

Pampering is the order of the day either the weekend before or the weekend after Valentine's Day.  Enjoy a jacuzzi or steam bath, snuggle by the fire, and luxuriate in our comfortable beds.  Our romance package includes:

- champagne, wine or sparkling cider
- chocolate covered strawberries in your room on arrival
- and a $60 gift certificate for dinner at the Historic Cashtown Inn.

Please reserve early, as the Historic Cashtown Inn will fill quickly for Valentine's weekend.  The price for the "romance" package is $90 plus lodging.  A 2-night minimum is required.  Also, you can substitute the "Romance" package with our "Massage" package ($100). Again, reserve early in order to secure the massage therapists.  Call the Inn for availability/reservations.  If you are interested in a "romance" package on a weekend other than Valentine's, do not hesitate to ask us.

3rd Annual Gettysburg's Re-enactor and Living Historian Appreciation and Learning Weekend

Come have a fun-filled weekend without the hassles of an event. Many local businesses are offering special discounts and rates for you and your family. Throughout town we'll have free events and guest speakers for your enlightenment and entertainment. Enjoy one of the welcome receptions Friday night and Saturday morning, a period fashion show, Civil War tea at the Holiday Inn, a Grand Ball at the Eisenhower Inn, chapel services and much more.
Seating will be limited and on first-come basis for many of our major events such as the Victorian tea, fashion show and Grand ball, so be sure to attend one of the welcome receptions and sign up for the weekend's events.

Admission is FREE for all re-enactors and living historians in PERIOD ATTIRE. For all non-period dressed attendees, there is a small weekend admission fee of $15 per person, $30 per couple, or $40 per family.
