It Just Isn’t That Easy Being an Innkeeper…

Innkeeping is not for the faint of heart.  The bottom line is it’s hard work.  Whether it comes to cleaning bathrooms, grocery shopping or dealing with an unruly customer, so much about being an Innkeeper requires hands on work.

It saddens me to see the decisions being made by some Innkeepers in relation to their Online Marketing Presence.

There are a few industry providers out there that promise results with little or no work required.  Innkeepers, who are unaware of the requirements for online success, often choose these “too good to be true” options, only to discover 12 to 18 months down the road their choice isn’t netting the promised results.

It is no secret that we live in an instant society of microwaves, fast food drive throughs and cell phone assistants, and it’s natural that we all want to find the easy road to success.  It’s in our instant society DNA.

But, there is no easy way to successfully grow your revenue.  And if you are not at 100% occupancy, there is always room for growth.

The items listed on the info-graphic below include all the facets of a successful marketing campaign.   Some have more priority than others, but each of these items will increase your occupancy and grow your business.

So take a moment, and determine one of the two following options when reviewing each of the items on the info-graphic.

a)    Either YOU are doing each of these marketing tasks yourself (or)
b)    You are PAYING another company to do them for you.

If your business isn’t where you want it to be financially, these items are The Answer to growing your revenue.
