Facebook, F8, Like Buttons and What it Means for your Business Page

Facebook made some major announcements yesterday about their plans for Global Domination.

Well, sort of-  Mark Zuckerberg, the president of Facebook, announced a huge bundle of changes for not only his own product, but the web at large at the F8 Conference yesterday.

The main change that Acorn's customers will notice is that now, rather than being "Fans" of your Facebook business page, people will "Like" your Facebook page.

This is part of an enormous, far-reaching plan, which will include "Like" buttons all over the Internet. The purpose is to make the web friendly to you, based on your "Likes", as well as your friends' "Likes". See more Here . As of now, I don't see a big change in how you use your Facebok page and how it works, but as we know, Facebook is ever evolving, so we may see functionality changes as well as this new "Like" button.
